Kohtla-Järve region nominates Tanel Kiige and Mihhail Kõvart as candidates for the chairman of the Central Party

The board of the Kohtla-Järve region of the Estonian Center Party presents Tanel Kiige and Mihhail Kõvarti as candidates for chairman to the extraordinary congress.

“Both candidates are strong, Kohtla-Järve delegates can vote according to their conscience. It is important for us to move forward together regardless of who becomes the chairman,” said Ivetta Sakkart-Linnard, chairman of the Kohtla-Järve region.

Jaak Aab, Vadim Belobrovtsev, Maria Jufereva-Skuratovski, Jaanus Karilaid, Andrei Korobeinik, Lauri Laats, Jüri Ratas and Marika Tuus-Laul are nominated as board members.

The extraordinary congress of the Center Party will be held on September 10 in the E-Piima sports hall in Paide. The chairman of the party, members of the board of the party, members of the revision committee and the chairman of the court of honor are elected. More than 1,000 delegates are expected in Paide.
