The past few years witnessed a state of anger on the part of the Swiss coach, Marcel Koller, and the management of Al-Ahly club on the one hand, and the Brazilian player Bruno Savio, on the other hand.
The Brazilian player Bruno Savio traveled to Morocco with the Al-Ahly mission, which is preparing for the Club World Cup, but all the coach excluded the player, along with a number of members, from Al-Ahly’s list participating in the tournament, as Al-Ahmar will play the first matches today, Wednesday, against Auckland City.
However, the past few days witnessed a state of anger on the part of Coach Koehler towards the player, after a conversation took place between the management of Al-Ahly club and the Swiss coach.
A source in Al-Ahly club said, in statements during the early hours of Wednesday morning, that information reached Al-Ahly officials that Bruno Savio caused the failure of Al-Ahly club negotiations with the Brazilian player Gustavo, who was close to joining the ranks of the Red Castle during the current winter transfers.
Why Kohler angry Savio?
The same source said in his statements that Al-Ahly was close to including Gustavo, but a call took place between Bruno’s side that made the player exaggerate the financial demands, and Savio advised Gustavo to request the setting of certain financial conditions, which made the negotiations not proceed as hoped on the part of the Al-Ahly negotiator.
And Al-Ahly officials learned what happened, and the matter was transferred to Coach Kohler, who expressed his anger at what happened on the part of Bruno Savio.
