Today with nearly 600,000 subscribers on his Instagram account, Claude Dartois was still completely unknown to the general public thirteen years ago. Working as a chauffeur in Paris, he gained notoriety following his participation in the show Koh-Lanta in 2010. The adventurer stood out from the other candidates in the TF1 game thanks to his sporting exploits during the tests, but also his keen sense of strategy on the camp. Although he did not win Koh-Lanta that year, Claude Dartois became one of the most emblematic adventurers of TF1’s adventure game. Subsequently, he participated in the program again three times. Although he became the record holder for victories in individual events (22), Claude Dartois never won Koh-Lanta. Indeed, his victory during his final participation in 2021 was canceled by production, due to suspicions of cheating which marred this edition.
