It is with great pleasure that the municipality of Kœnigsmacker, represented by Pierre Zenner, the mayor, his deputies and the municipal council, welcomed the 1st company of the 40th regiment of Transmissions of Thionville, with which it is twinned, for the handover of command between Captain Chauvin and Captain Hickel, in the presence of Colonel Kaufmann and many men and women of the regiment.
The municipality of Kœnigsmacker and the 1st company of the 40th RT have signed a twinning charter in which it is written that this partnership contributes to the development of the spirit of defence, the duty of memory and the strengthening of the army-nation link.
The commune of Kœnigsmacker thanks Captain Chauvin and congratulates Captain Hickel on his new duties.
