If the 57-year-old candidate Víctor Font wins those elections, it will be the end of the story for Koeman. “If we win the election, Koeman will not be the coach. He is a Barcelona legend and we should be grateful to him for taking up this challenge, but it does not change my plans.”
That is what Font says in conversation with RAC1. According to him, Koeman should refuse the job. “It is a real shame, because he is starting a project without a future and any structure. He should avoid that risk.”

In Font’s picture, Xavi will become Barcelona’s trainer in the future. Although the former midfielder has already turned down the job twice, Font assumes that the Spaniard will return to Barcelona.
