FC Barcelona officially announced the signing of contracts with two new members of the training staff. Henrik Larsson and Alfred Schreuder have signed contracts with the Catalan club until the end of June 2022. Both assistants will support Ronald Coeman in leading the team in the 2020/2021 season.

Ronald Koeman started preparations for the next season in which he will lead FC Barcelona. Last Wednesday, the Dutchman was officially presented as the successor to Quique Setien. Henrik Larsson he played for FC Barcelona in 2004-2005. During that time, he played 62 matches at Camp Nou, scoring 22 goals. The former FC Barcelona player and Ronald Koeman have known each other from 1995-1997, when they jointly represented the colors of the Dutch Feyenoord.
Alfred Schreuder, on the other hand, is recognized as a tactic specialist for set pieces games. In his coaching career, he mainly worked as an assistant coach in the Netherlands, where he previously played football. In the last season he was the coach of Hoffenheim, who played in the Bundesliga 1899. Additionally, he collaborated in the 2018/2019 season with Frankie de Jong when he was a member of the training staff Ajax Amsterdam.
