With kodiaq, the brand entered the middle-class SUV segment in 2016 and at the same time began the tradition of naming crossovers and SUVs. Since then, every such car from Škoda Auto starts with “K” and ends with “q”. After more than 600,000 pieces have been produced, it is time for a facelift.

Visually, three images from the pen of the designer suggest the form of modernization. A typical hexagonal radiator grille is upright. Due to the fact that the headlights are tapered and the fog lights below them are larger, the carmaker itself speaks of a “four-eyed” design of the bow.

The front bumper is also new, while at the rear, narrower and more distinctly shaped lamps are also interesting. The C-shaped light signature, of course, remains.

For the time being, the question mark hangs over changes in the interior and technical parameters. The return of the RS variant is expected, but it will probably head from the diesel engine to the plug-in hybrid system.
