Although all three games have a Japanese background, they all appear immediately translated into English on Steam. The three games differ considerably in design and gameplay, because where Family Battle is a typical anime-like game, Bokura is going on the 2D sidescroller tour. The developer announced plans to release the games on multiple platforms and in multiple languages in the future.
We know Kodansha from popular mangas like Fairy Tail, Love Hina and Suzuka and previously gave love to developers of indie games, such as Persona 5 composer Shoji Meguro. In the meantime, Kodansha also develops games under their own flag and hopes to appeal to a larger audience with this. Whether that will eventually work through the above games and future titles, the future will tell.
