Kočiņa Takes 3rd Place in Javelin Competition with 51.37 Meter Throw

Kočiņa climbed to third place with 51.37 meters achieved in the sixth attempt.

In the first throw, her javelin flew 45.84 meters, in the third – 46.11 meters, in the fifth – 46.27 meters, but the second and fourth throws were not counted.

Sara Yemaji, the home team, won with 53.21 meters, while Ajimona Adanhegbe took the second place in the competition of 12 athletes with a distance of 52.31 meters.

It has already been reported that Jānis Svens Griva won this competition on Saturday with a throw of 76.10 meters, while Matīss Velps was ninth with 63.37 meters.
