NOS news

24 passengers were taken from a sailing boat that was taking on water in the Wadden Sea. There are 21 children and 3 supervisors, all from Germany, reports a spokesman for the Royal Dutch Rescue Association (KNRM).

The German children and their supervisors were landed in Harlingen as a precaution. No one was injured.

The clipper Johanna Engelina suffered a leak for an unknown reason on the shipping route between Harlingen and Vlieland. The vessel remained afloat and was towed to the port of Harlingen. The crew stayed on board.
