Knowledge test – youngsters from the Lilienfeld district were great

A total of 109 members of the youth fire brigade took part in the knowledge test and knowledge test game for the Lilienfeld district, which was conducted by the district clerk for the youth fire brigade Günter Turnwald. 69 of the 109 young people took part in the knowledge test for over 12 year olds, all others took part in the knowledge test game.

The event was opened at nine o’clock in the new fire station in St. Aegyd with an organizational overview. Fire councilor Richard Fuchs, who is chairman of the working committee of the fire brigade youth, deputy district fire brigade commander and host, was also welcomed.

The test stations were looked after by the youth workers in the district. In addition, some members of the St. Aegyd volunteer fire brigade supported the preparations. At the end of the event, the “white flag” was hoisted, because all members of the fire brigade youth were able to apply their knowledge and successfully assert themselves in the tasks.

The youngsters had to answer all sorts of tricky questions about the fire brigade in the knowledge test and knowledge test game.

“Maximilian Hollerer from Rainfeld, Justin Freilinger from St. Veit as well as Fabian Sieber and Zoe Obernberger from the Rotheau fire brigade youth were able to complete the knowledge test in gold for the second time, eight other youth members were able to win the gold for the first time,” reports district fire brigade spokesman Christian Teis.

Among those present were Mayor Karl Oysmüller, Section Fire Inspector August Hollerer and Fire Councilor Walter Weninger. At the end of the event, Günter Turnwald thanked them for the smooth and successful cooperation and for the successful course of the event.
