Know the Risk of Disease Early Through the Screening Feature on the JKN Mobile Application : Okezone News

HAMMER – BPJS Kesehatan continues to innovate in providing easy access to services for JKN-KIS Program participants. One of them is the Health History Screening feature on the JKN Mobile Application which can make it easier for participants to detect the risk of dangerous diseases early on such as Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Hypertension, heart and kidney.

This is as stated by the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Palu at the Media Gathering activity on Wednesday (16/06).

Wahidah as the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Palu Branch raised an issue related to independent medical history screening which can be accessed through the Mobile JKN application. Services without face-to-face are also currently being socialized to the public to reduce direct interaction in order to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.

“This medical history screening can only be done once a year. Participants with medium-risk and high-risk health screening results are advised to conduct an examination at the FKTP (First Level Health Facility) where the participants are registered,” said Wahidah.

He continued, Participants who have a risk of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer and other Diseases determined by the Ministry of Health can obtain certain health screening services or screenings at FKTP which consist of examination of GDP and GDPP for Type 2 DM, BP examination for HT, VIA examination and Pap smear for cervical cancer, clinical breast examination for breast cancer.

“We hope that information like this can be conveyed to the wider community so that JKN-KIS participants can take advantage of the features contained in the Mobile JKN application,” he said.

Met after the activity, media representatives from RRI Palu, Helyanita Br. Surbakti said that he was greatly helped by the JKN Mobile Application, where all information and services can be enjoyed only by using a mobile phone.

“I often think about my own health condition, but am reluctant to check into health facilities and consult a doctor directly, especially during the current pandemic, I must always be careful not to be exposed to Covid-19,” he said.

He added that with the Mobile JKN he could immediately conduct a health screening and was grateful that the results of the screening were low risk, it was recommended to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Medical history screening can be done by FKTP or independently through the Mobile JKN application or through the BPJS Health website and the Chika 08118750400 application which can be accessed by participants via wa, telegram or facebook messager.
