Apple will update the latest operating system i.e iOS 16 beta version. The planned release of iOS 16 was announced at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2022, Monday (6/6/2022). Meanwhile, the final version will be officially released starting September 2022.

1. Customize Lock Screen
As we know, iPhone lock screen tends to be common. However, on iOS 16 features that support lock screen customization. This feature frees the user to choose the font, widget, date and time display with various colors and types.
This lock screen is capable of displaying a widget similar to the Watch Face on WatchOS that makes it easy for users to get information at a glance for calendar, weather, battery, alarm, time zone, and more.
Not only that, there is also a Live Activity feature that can provide information or news in real time even when the screen is locked. This notification will be at the bottom of the screen.
2. New features for iMessage
Next move on to the iMassage section. Apple has finally released the Edit, Undo, and Reread features. This means that users can edit messages that have been sent, recover messages that have been deleted, and mark messages as unread so they can be re-sent.
There is also SharePlay on Messages which makes it easy for users to play videos while chatting via iMassages.
3. Setting iCloud
On iOS 16 users can easily share photos via iCloud. Even more sophisticated, now users can share and collaborate to share existing photos from a private Gallery at once in the Shared Photo Library.
Shared Photo Library users have access to add, delete, edit, or favorite shared photos and videos. This feature can be used for fellow iPhone users and a maximum of six people.
4. Live Text and Visual Search
Live Text is built using on-device intelligence to add text in images across iOS. Live text has the ability to quickly convert currency, translate text, and more.
There is also a new feature, namely Visual Look Up. This feature is able to recognize the images you are looking for and retrieve the main object of the image to be directly pasted into applications such as Messages.
5. Update Fitur Wallet
Apple has developed a Wallet feature that supports personal ID, key sharing, Tap to Pay, Apple Pay Later, to Apple Pay Order Tracking.
The Apple Pay Later service provides users with a secure way to share Apple Pay purchases with no interest and no fees.
6. CarPlay
CarPlay is made even more sophisticated with a more futuristic appearance by providing vehicle screen content and deeper integration.
CarPlay is able to connect to various sensors in the car, and the data is displayed in full. No need to worry about privacy because everything will be guaranteed safely.
In addition, Apple also updated the Home that supports Matter standardization, new UI, new categories, and lock screen widgets. In addition, Apple is also developing a True Depth Camera that can be used for a new feature, namely Personalized Spatial Audio.
