Kuwait City: Kuwait holidays announced. This time there will be many holidays including Independence Day, Liberation Day, Isra’-Miraj Anniversary and a weekend holiday.
The anniversary and feast of Isra’ – Mi’aj is actually February 18th. But every year, the Isra’-Mi’aj holiday, if it falls between two working days, Kuwait has a Cabinet directive in place to move it to the following Thursday. For this reason, instead of Saturday 18 February, the feast of Isra’-Mi’aj will be Thursday 23 February.
From Thursday 23 February to Monday 27 February will be a holiday. The official working day will resume on Tuesday 28 February after the holidays. Meanwhile, Kuwait will have a three-day New Year’s holiday. The holiday will be on December 30, 31 and January 1. After the holidays, the working days will resume on February 2nd.
