In the future, the new expressway, should it actually be implemented, will be classified as an “environmental crime”: For years, environmental and climate protection activists have been protesting against the construction of the Lobau tunnel, and now, with some fierce prognoses, they are putting an end to it. Well-known experts have come together in an initiative under the patronage of the Science & Environment Forum to present arguments against the construction of the tunnel through the nature reserve.
