After much speculation about the possible options for this year’s “NPE”, there is now at least one certainty: The leading US plastics trade fair, which takes place every three years, will not take place as planned from May 17 to 21, 2021 as a live event with a personal presence in Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the trade fair organizer, the Plastics Industry Association (Plastics, Washington, DC / USA) decided “after a thorough examination” that it would not be possible to hold the planned show at this time and at this location in a safe environment to be held live.
The next edition of the Italian plastics fair “Plast” is to take place this year, from June 22nd to 25th, 2021 in Milan. However, due to the coronavirus, the originally announced date from May 4 to 7, 2021 was postponed by seven weeks. The organizers have further details on the content and course of the major event for the Italian and international plastics industry Plastics (Milan / Italy) not yet available.
