The IHK “City Dinner Tour” took place through Heilbronn city center for the fifth time on Tuesday evening. Around 100 guests were there and experienced extraordinary insights behind the scenes of local businesses.

The IHK Heilbronn-Franken’s “City Dinner Tours” have been around for almost ten years and are offered throughout the region with local partners. There have already been 48 city center tours with insights behind the scenes of retail stores, and the tour started for the fifth time on Tuesday in Heilbronn. And again the tour, organized by the IHK, the city, Heilbronn Marketing GmbH and the city initiative, had been fully booked for weeks. For Stefan Gölz, member of the management team at the IHK Heilbronn-Franken, it’s no wonder: “The ‘City Dinner Tour’ offers a unique opportunity to get to know the heart and soul of a business and to meet people and families who have been passionate about what they offer for generations and their customers are burning.”

Stefan Ernesti, head of the economic development department at the city of Heilbronn, also sees the “City Dinner Tour” as a good opportunity to find out “what Heilbronn’s city center has to offer”. In this context, Ernesti also referred to the many players who are working together with the city to develop an attractive shopping and living quality.

The stops on this “City Dinner Tour” also contribute to the attractiveness of the city center. The guests set off in several groups and learned a lot about traditional crafts, extraordinary offers and exclusive customers. For example, not all of the tour participants knew that the Hofmann goldsmiths are internationally known and that many customers travel long distances to seek advice from Sven Hofmann and his team on Kaiserstrasse.

The fact that Messer Maurer has the perfect knife cut, which even impresses customers in China, surprised – and delighted – many guests on the “City Dinner Tour”: as did the dedication and empathy of the owners Lilu Perle and Suse Zenth with theirs colorful and surprising range of original ideas for children and the whole family as well as Rey – the Store, where Reyhan Lohmüller has been offering exclusive women’s fashion for a year.

At the end of the “City Dinner Tour” there was the opportunity for personal exchange with the operators of the individual shops with ravioli and drinks in the Parkhotel restaurant.
