“Knife Incidents in Bergen: Second Incident Reported at Torget, Suspect At Large”

At 0322 on Thursday night, the police received a report of a possible stabbing at Torget in central Bergen.

There, the police came into contact with an injured man in his 20s, who had suffered injuries to an arm.

– We have not received anything from the victim. He did not want to say anything, and we have no witnesses to the events, says Hausvik.

The man was transported to Haukeland Hospital.

The night’s knife incident is the second in a few hours. On the night of 17 May, it was reported that one of those involved in a fight at McDonald’s at Bryggen allegedly displayed a knife. Here, no one was injured with the knife.

Police were searching for the suspect on Wednesday evening.

The police are currently not aware of whether there is a connection between the two knife incidents.
