Two teenagers attacked a 20-year-old with knives at a tram stop and seriously injured him. The attack in Bremer Neustadt was triggered by a dispute between the victim and the two young people, as the police announced on Sunday. Two suspects, aged 15 and 16, were caught by police after the crime on Sunday night. The victim was taken to a hospital.

After a verbal argument, the 20-year-old initially got off the train. But he broke a door window with a bottle just as the tram was starting to drive off. The train then stopped, the two teenagers got out and stabbed the 20-year-old, according to the police. Then they fled. But the two suspects were discovered and arrested by police officers. (dpa/mp)
