Three people were injured in a knife attack by a man at the Schuman metro station in Brussels. One person is in critical condition, reports channel VRT.
According to witnesses, the man attacked several people with a knife. The attacker was quickly arrested, says Mayor of Brussels Philippe Close Twitter. “Knife attack at Schuman station: cooperation with the various federal police services ensured that the perpetrator could be arrested quickly.”
Metro traffic has been halted in the station.

The man was known to the police, but was not on the wanted list. He may have psychological problems, writes VRT.
The Schuman metro station is located at the main building of the European Commission, the Berlaymont building.
