KMCC’s Hadiyathurrahma Pension Scheme Provides Festive Gift to Former Expatriates

Dammam: The first month’s allocation from KMCC’s Hadiyathurrahma Pension Scheme will be distributed as a small festive gift. Pension will be given to former expatriates who have returned to the country. The Hadiyathurrahma scheme was announced for former expatriates who have crossed the age of 60 and have cooperated in the social security scheme, which is the largest mutual aid scheme among the expatriate Malayalis run by the Saudi KMCC National Committee.

This year, 164 former expatriates who have fulfilled all the selected criteria will get the benefit of the scheme. 2000 will be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiaries every month.

The Saudi KMCC National Committee’s social security program now has sixty-five thousand members. Medical grants to members are disbursed directly through the bank every week of the year. Benefits are distributed thrice a year to the families of those who die while members of the scheme.

In the last six months, about five crores of benefits have been distributed from the scheme. Hadiyatu Rahma scheme is implemented through 35 Central Committees under National KMCC.

Saudi KMCC National Committee General Secretary Khader Chengala, secretariat members Alikutty Olavatur, Malik Maqbool Alungal, Eastern Province General Secretary Siddique Pandikashala and others participated in the press conference.
