Klyde Warren Park in Dallas to celebrate Independence Day on Saturday night – Telemundo Dallas (39)

One of the first major fireworks displays of the 4th of July holiday in North Texas begins this weekend at Klyde Warren Park.

This is the park’s first major event without heavy COVID-19 restrictions, a sign of how exciting the year is to come.

It’s been two full years since the park was able to host its annual Independence Day celebration and 18 months since it was able to host an unrestricted pandemic event.

Fireworks will shine on Woodall Rogers and families are invited to bring blankets to settle in and watch the show. There will also be live music from the band of the 36th. Infantry Division and Food Trucks.

This event begins at 6 pm and ends at 10 pm It is free and open to the public. Organizers expect thousands of people to show up on Saturday night.

Organizers reported that a new restaurant, Mi Cocina, will open soon.

Videographer Maxim Dragunov captured the spectacular fireworks show in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a drone, to celebrate Victory Day, which commemorates the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II in 1945.

The playground is also expanding, and the Dallas City Council just approved funding to help expand the park’s platform, which will include an ice rink.

Additionally, the new “super fountain” project will take over the east lawn, where the dog park is currently located. That dog park will be relocated across the street from the Museum Tower on Pearl Street to a larger, shaded area.

The water will shoot 30 feet into the air every night. There will be light shows to which music will be played. “

At the end of this video we explain how to participate and who qualifies.
