“Due to the general overall but also employee situation, we have decided to take a break from January 17th to February 14th inclusive. We use the days off to recharge our batteries and look forward to welcoming you again from mid-February and spoiling you with culinary delights!” This message has been on the Linzer Klosterhof website since Monday. Although the gastronomy has been allowed to reopen since December 17th, the traditional inn on Landstraße has now been closed for at least four weeks.
Most recently, Klosterhof tenant Josef Gassner, who took over the inn at the end of 2019, set up a wonderful Christmas market in the wonderful inner courtyard, which he was only able to open for three days due to the corona – before the start of the lockdown in Upper Austria.
