Jürgen Klopp could not hide his frustration at seeing defeat Liverpool from Southampton. Klopp considered the players to be very bad.
Liverpool need a win when they visit St Mary’s, Tuesday (5/1/2021) early morning WIB. The reason is that they have failed to win in the last two games because West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United have matched them.
But, only two minutes into the game, Alisson Becker’s goal was broken first through Danny Ings’ goal to continue James Ward-Prowse’s free kick. Liverpool’s unpreparedness in anticipating the back line is the cause.
Another second problem was that Liverpool could not score against Southampton, which was escorted by reserve goalkeeper Fraser Forster. The trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino were soothed
Even the first shot on target Liverpool in this match was only made in the last 15 minutes of the match by Mane. Liverpool lost 0-1 and the top of the standings was threatened by Manchester United, who both have 33 points.
