Was recruited recently Liverpool, Diogo Jota have shown off. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp already guessed that Jota would fit in with The Reds.
Jota was brought off by Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the transfer market last summer. The Portuguese attacker was brought to Anfield for a fee of up to 45 million pounds.
In Liverpool’s last match in the Premier League on Sunday (1/11/2020) early morning WIB, Jota was the winner. He scored in the 85th minute to give Liverpool a 2-1 win over West Ham United.
That means Jota has scored three goals in Liverpool’s last three games. In total, he scored four goals in nine appearances for Liverpool in all competitions.
Jota’s good performance with Liverpool did not surprise Klopp. The German manager believed from the start that Jota would quickly adapt to Liverpool’s playing style.
“He is good, they should be when they join us. He is experienced and has played many games in the Premier League,” said Klopp as reported. Sky Sports.
“He is a really good boy and a very good signing. I know that he will not take long to adapt because the level of intensity at Wolves is very high.”
“The boys on the wings have to run like crazy so we know physically he will be good. Next is a matter of adjusting to a new environment,” he continued.
“It’s easy for him to get into the squad and it’s good we have more than 11 people in good form at the moment,” Klopp added.
