The German coach Juergen Klopp, the coach of Liverpool, revealed that the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, the star of the team, will return to play mainly against Manchester United in the FA Cup.
Manchester United will host Liverpool on Sunday night at Old Trafford in the fourth round of the FA CUP.
Klopp said, in statements reported by the “Liverpool Echo” newspaper in the early hours of Sunday morning: “Yes, Salah will participate mainly, and I do not think that is a big secret.”
Regarding the constant speculation about the future of Salah, who will remain on his contract for two years after the end of the current season, Klopp stressed: “I do not think that this will affect the performance of the team, this is a normal thing in the world of football.”
He explained, “We do not go out and talk about things that we think are important, this is very rare. But we receive questions and we answer them, and then it seems that we have started talking about the subject, this is the story.”
The Liverpool coach concluded, “In most cases we don’t do that, I don’t think (Salah’s contract) will disrupt the season.”
