Singapore –
Performance is not okay Darwin Nunez moment Liverpool slaughtered Manchester United made him ridiculed by rival fans. Reds manager Juergen Klopp don’t bother about it.
At an expensive price of £85 million when purchased from Benfica, Nunez was burdened with high expectations about appearances. Moreover, he came when Liverpool lost three of his front players. Liverpool fans definitely want to see Nunez immediately appear okay, while the opposing fans are the opposite.
So far, the opposing fans are still smiling when Nunez, who made his debut for Liverpool, saw his team thrashed 0-4 by Manchester United two days ago in Bangkok.

Nunez appeared less okay and wasted a golden opportunity to score. The public began to compare him with Andy Carroll, Liverpool’s most expensive purchase in 2011, who had the same stature and failed career.
Nevertheless, Juergen Klopp do not want to bother with the slanted assumption of rival fans. Because Liverpool fans will do the same when MU’s most expensive player appears like that.
This is all just the beginning for Nunez and he also needs time to find his best form at Liverpool.
“I’m not at all worried (about the high price),” Klopp said ESPN.
“The public’s assessment of Nunez does not interest us at all. It will certainly be like this and we know that,” he continued.
“The most important thing is how I can assess the condition of the player and I’m calm – very confident about his potential.”
“People only make jokes when another player looks bad. That’s what fans of the opposing club do and it’s natural. Our fans will probably do the same with Manchester United players. Don’t take it to heart,” he said.
