Klopp defends Sadio Mane who failed to execute the penalty

Sadio Mane make you nervous after failing to execute a penalty in the high-stosan round FA Cup finalbetween Liverpool vs Chelsea. Manager Jurgen Klopp defended him.

After a 0-0 draw for 120 minutes, the winner was decided on a penalty shootout. In the tostosan round, Liverpool had the lead.

Cesar Azpilicueta’s failure made Liverpool lead 4-3 from Chelsea. However, the Reds were finally chased after Sadio Mane failed to hit the penalty ball.

Facing goalkeeper and compatriot, Edouard Mendy, Sadio Mane failed to beat him. The Chelsea goalkeeper could read Mane’s shot, which directed the ball to the right.

However, Liverpool can finally get back ahead. Mason Mount missed a penalty, and ensured the Reds won the FA Cup with a 6-5 advantage in half-time.

After the match, the spotlight was on Sadio Mane, who missed a penalty. Klopp’s manager then defended him.

“Sadio’s penalty is 50 per cent my responsibility. I told him the goalkeeper knows exactly what you usually do, so do the opposite. How often in my life is it better to be silent!” said Klopp, half jokingly, as reported by the Daily Mail.

“But we still made it after an amazing game. We worked with a neuroscience company (neruo11) who said they can actually train penalty shooting. This trophy is for them too,” he said.
