KLM staff to court in Paris

The conflict arose at the end of last year when the European works council of Air France-KLM did not follow the nomination of the candidate of the KLM works council, but put forward its own candidate who has no support from the KLM supporters. According to the KLM works council, this is against the agreement that was made in close consultation with the top of the group.

Since Air France already has three employee seats on the Air France-KLM board by law, it was ‘good practice’ for the fourth staff seat to be filled by a candidate on behalf of KLM employees. In recent years this has always been the case, but suddenly not in the last election.
