Former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin expressed concern after the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin about turning the country into an “anti-Russia”.
“Putin’s words today about us as“ anti-Russia ”should not be underestimated. This is not another find of speechwriters, “Klimkin noted on Facebook.
According to the former minister, Putin spoke of Ukraine as a constant source of problems for the Russian Federation, so a serious answer should be expected.
“He has not yet used such vocabulary. The Kremlin’s response will be asymmetrical and very tough, ”Klimkin stressed.
Earlier, at a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council, the President of the Russian Federation said that they are making a Russian antipode out of Ukraine, turning it into “some kind of anti-Russia,” which is only regrettable. According to Putin, Kiev is becoming a platform where news comes from that makes people think about their own safety.
