Kleve district. The FDP Kleve-Geldern district association cordially invites all those interested in politics to take part in a visit to the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament on Wednesday, September 11th. During the visit, participants can experience the work of the state parliament first hand and gain exclusive insights into state politics.

The focus of the program is a visit to a plenary debate, which participants can follow live from the visitors’ gallery. They will also receive an introduction to how the state parliament works and have the opportunity to discuss current political issues with Dietmar Brockes, member of the Lower Rhine state parliament. The day will be rounded off with a cozy coffee break in the state parliament, where there will be time for conversation and networking.

“We want to offer the citizens of our region the opportunity to experience politics first hand and to get to know parliamentary work,” says Kay Ehrhardt, chairman of the Kleve-Geldern FDP district association. “We are particularly looking forward to discussing with our guests the issues that concern and affect them locally.”

The journey takes place from 11:45 a.m. in comfort by coach, which departs from two different boarding points on the A57 ramps in Goch and Issum. Participation in the trip and the visit to the state parliament are free of charge, the exact details can be found on the district association’s website. Interested parties can register until September 1, 2024 on the Free Democrats’ website at Register for the trip. Places are limited, so early registration is recommended. “We are looking forward to numerous participants and an exciting day in the NRW state parliament,” concludes Ehrhardt.
