A new emergency bulletin for the “Kleon” heat wave has been issued by the EMY as it states that temperatures are coming up to 45 degrees.

From Friday 7-21-2023 until Sunday 7-23-2023 a new heat wave will be felt throughout the country, while on Monday 7-24-2023 a temporary abatement of very high temperatures is expected.

B. From Tuesday 25-7-2023 to Thursday 27-7-2023 a third heat wave is expected.

More specifically :

1. On Friday 21-7-2023 the maximum temperature values ​​will reach:

a. in Epirus and Macedonia 38 to 40 and in places in central Macedonia 41 degrees Celsius

b. in Thessaly, Central Greece and the Peloponnese 40 to 42 and in places in Thessaly 43 to 44 degrees Celsius

c. in the Ionian Islands, the Eastern Aegean Islands and the Dodecanese 39 to 41 degrees Celsius

d. in Thrace, Crete and the rest of the island country 37 to 39 degrees Celsius.

2. On Saturday 22-7-2023 a slight further rise in temperature is predicted. The maximum values ​​will reach:

a. in Epirus and Macedonia 39 to 41 and in places in central Macedonia 42 degrees Celsius

b. in Thessaly, Central Greece and Peloponnese 42 to 43 and in places in Thessaly and eastern Sterea 44 degrees Celsius

c. in the Ionian Islands, the Dodecanese and Crete 40 to 42 degrees Celsius

d. in Thrace and the rest of the island country 39 to 41 degrees Celsius.

3. On Sunday 23-7-2023 the maximum prices will reach:

a. in continental areas 41 to 43 and in places in the interior of Central Greece and the Peloponnese 44 and Thessaly 45 degrees Celsius

b. in their island country 39 to 41 degrees Celsius.

4. On Monday 24-7-2023 the temperature is predicted to drop by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius, with the largest drop observed in the eastern part of the country and the smallest in the western part. The maximum values ​​will reach:

a. in continental areas 38 to 40 and in places in Central Greece and the Peloponnese 41 to 42 degrees Celsius

b. in the Ionian Islands, the Dodecanese and southern Crete 37 to 39 degrees and in the rest of the island country 35 to 36 degrees Celsius.

5. According to all the available forecast data from Tuesday 25-7-2023 to Thursday 27-7-2023 very high temperatures are expected again in our country. On Friday 28-7-2023 very high temperatures will be maintained in the central and southern countries, while a noticeable drop is expected in northern Greece.
