24-year-old Theißen arrived at Babelsberger Park only last summer from third division club 1. FC Saarbrücken and secured number one status against Marco Flügel and Justin Borchardt. In 33 of the 38 possible league games, the Aachen native was in goal.
Klatte trained in the Hertha BSC youth academy
He was particularly convincing on the line, but repeatedly revealed weaknesses when playing with the ball at his feet. Thanks to a clause in his contract, which runs until June 30, 2023, the blond boy can leave the SVB for a fee to return home to North Rhine-Westphalia.

Klatte has been under contract with second division club FC Hansa Rostock for the past two seasons. Under former Babelsberg player and assistant manager Jens Härtel, the 22-year-old failed to outdo regular goalkeeper Markus Kolke and made just 13 appearances for Hansa-Reserve in the Oberliga Nord. Before moving to the Baltic Sea coast, Klatte, who signed a two-year contract at Babelsberger Park, wore the Hertha BSC jersey for many years in the youth and men’s divisions (second team).
