Klaasje is looking forward to acting, dancing and making music in the future, but songs like ‘All Colors’ and ‘Grandma’s at the top’ are a thing of the past. “After five wonderful years, I have decided to say goodbye to K3,” she says. “I am very grateful for all the experiences I have had with Hanne and Marthe over the past five years and I will carry these moments with me for the rest of my life. In the future I will definitely continue to act, present and make music and I am really looking forward to that. But in the first instance, I will happily remain part of K3 until the end of the year and then hand over the K3 torch with confidence. ”

Her K3 sisters Marthe and Hanne have to get used to the fact that they will soon have to do without Klaasje. Hanne: “We have not only grown professionally, but have also grown very much closer together! We laughed, cried and enjoyed. ”
“But both Hanne and I are still very excited to continue. We don’t have the feeling yet that it is time for us to stop, ”explains Marthe. “In consultation with Studio 100, Hanne and I made the decision to continue with K3.” That decision was further explained in a real press moment today. We could just see the two remaining girls on television again soon. “We still have a lot of plans,” reveals Gert Verhulst of Studio100. “This fall we will be looking for a successor to Klaasje.” The previous two times a search for new K3 members was done with a television talent show. Twelve years ago K2 Searches K3 on the tube, after Kathleen Aerts left the group and Karen Damen and Kristel Verbeke remained. Josje Huisman emerged as the winner. Karen, Kristel and Josje decided to quit K3 in 2015, after which a second television show followed.
