KKB Gets More Brutal in Remote Areas, One Group of Officials Shot, 69 Killed Including the Mayor

PEOPLE’S MIND – The violent shootings again involve armed criminal groups (KKB). This time they attacked a group of officials in a remote area.

KKB then attacked those who were visiting in remote areas of Niger on Tuesday, 2 November 2021 .

Reuters reported that 69 people, including a mayor, were killed on the spot.

While 15 other people are reported to have survived despite receiving a number of gunshot wounds.

One mayor who was declared dead was an official led by the mayor of Banibangou.

They were ambushed in one attack deadly and then ambushed near the border with Mali.

Sources there said, if the area is controlled by insurgents who are reportedly affiliated with ISIS.
