“Kiwi-Camilla” Expecting Second Child: A Baby Boy Due in July

In July, Matilde Solbakken, known as “Kiwi-Camilla”, is due. She is expecting a little boy.

From before, Matilde Solbakken (36) and her partner Niklas Vindel (37) are the parents of a girl, Vilma, who was born in July 2021.

– There will be exactly two years between them. The term is very close to Vilma’s birthday, says Solbakken to VG.

For several years, she has smiled widely on the TV screen in a green uniform as Kiwi’s outward face.

The pregnancy is not going to put an end to the job she loves so much.

– We have recorded a number of commercials recently, so I don’t stay away from the screen for very long. I don’t think many people noticed that the last time I became a mother.

Most things are ready until the little boy arrives in July.

– We have a lot from the first husband and grandparents have also bought in, so we are just looking forward to it. It was very cozy with a newborn last time, says Solbakken.

They are nevertheless prepared for there to be a transition.

– We know that there will be less sleep once again, and hear rumors that it is much tougher with two than one, but it will be great fun.

The family of almost four lives in a terraced house in Lier. Vindel is from Drammen, while Solbakken is from Hamar.

They have been together for five years, and met for the first time on a city trip in Oslo.

– We met at Bar Vulkan. I was there with some friends and he was there with some friends. We started talking, he also followed me to the bus that evening. After that we really just started talking, but we didn’t meet again until two weeks after the first meeting, Solbakken said in an interview with The online newspaper i 2020.

Vindel participated in the reality program “Paradise Hotel” in 2010 and 2011.

– None of us recognized each other. I lived in Denmark when Niklas was on “Paradise Hotel”, and Niklas didn’t recognize me from the commercials.
