Spectacular rescue on Friday afternoon in Kitzingen. Around 2 p.m., a VW Caddy rolled backwards into the Main – luckily without passengers. Why the car started rolling in the first place is unclear. After drifting in the river for a while, the car sank near the Old Synagogue. After divers had prepared the rescue, a towing company was able to rescue the car from the Main at around 4:30 p.m.
