An unusual incident recently caused a stir in Ottakring when passers-by discovered a cute kitten, barely two to three months old, in a garbage container and concerned citizens immediately alerted the Vienna police.

Vienna Police – Pablo’s friend and helper

The playful kitten, affectionately named “Pablo”, showed a particular fondness for a police officer’s plate cap and turned out to be a curious explorer on his “investigative” mission in his own furry way. It is suspected that Pablo was intentionally abandoned. Despite the mysterious story, the police tried to offer safety and comfort to the little ball of fur.
