A young resident of Kitigan Zibi, Reid Brascoupe, was recruited by the elite U15 AAA national team of the Boston Hockey Academy located in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. Unfortunately, the latter needs funding to be able to continue on this path.

The family is asking for help from the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau community so that Reid can persevere in his journey. This occasion represents the opportunity of a lifetime for the teenager.

Tracy Lapratte regrets that aid programs reserved for members of the First Nations are limited to Quebec territory. That is to say that Reid is not eligible since he will play in another country.
