British actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are expecting their second child. The 36-year-old Harington made this known in the American talk show The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Harington and Leslie already had a son in early 2021. “He is about to get the shock of his life, now that he has a brother or sister,” says the actor with roles in, among other things, Games of Thrones.
But the actor now experiences the road to childbirth in a different way. “The first time we were completely over the moon during those nine months. Now it’s all a bit, however, we are preparing for it in a more practical way.”
Their son also seems to be aware of what is to come. “We try to prepare him for it. For example, we point to Rose’s belly and say it’s ‘Mommy’s baby’. He then points back and says it’s ‘his baby’.”
Harington and Leslie married in 2018. The 35-year-old actress, like her husband, is known for the series Games of Thrones and continued to play in, among other things Downton Abbey, Death on the Nile in Luther.
