This was disclosed by Kissinger to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Tuesday (17/1/2023).
He supports Kiev’s membership in the US-led NATO military bloc, but continues to insist on dialogue with Russia.

Kissinger, now 99 years old, was US secretary of state (1973-1977) and national security adviser (1969-1975).

He played a major role in talks to end the Vietnam War, as well as the policy of playing China against the Soviets during the Cold War.
At last year’s Davos meeting, in May, he advocated an immediate end to hostilities in Ukraine, lest Russia be “pushed into a permanent alliance with China.”
However, for daring to suggest that Moscow could defend Crimea which rejoined Russia in 2014, he was placed on a “Peacemaker” or list of Ukraine’s enemies.
