Indian cinema’s big release for this year’s Eid holiday is the new Salman Khan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (KKBKKJ), action-packed entertainment, but also lots of humor and emotion. For fans of the Dabangg actor, KKBKKJ is a must, to see with the family.
After Bachchan Paandey in 2022, director Farhad Samji returns with another remake of a Tamil hit, namely Veeram, released in 2014, starring Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah in the lead roles. Salman Khan fans can rejoice: the highly anticipated KKBKKJ is all-around entertainment and stars Salman Khan in the lead role alongside Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Venkatesh, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, Raghav Juyal and Siddharth Nigam, among others, in key roles.
Bhaijaan (Salman Khan) has pledged to live his single life so he can take care of his three younger brothers. But when a beautiful woman enters his life, things take an unexpected turn. As expected, KKBKKJ rests largely on the shoulders of Salman Khan and his stardom.
Although the superstar plays his role well, the script has many shortcomings. The first half is a little disappointing, but the second half is comparatively better. Salman turns out to be the strong point of the film and as usual he is very convincing in the action scenes.
But his love story with Pooja Hedge, seen in 2022 in Cirkus, is not very convincing. Still, the actress does her best to do her role full justice. Venkatesh impresses. Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal and Sidharth Nigam do justice to their “not so deep” characters.
KKBKKJ’s songs are fun, but add nothing to the narrative. In short, if you are an unconditional fan of Salman Khan and you were impatiently awaiting his return to the big screen, do not miss this film for the world.
