This Friday, September 24, at 6:40 p.m., a large emergency device was triggered in Evendorff, not far from Kirschnaumen. Firefighters from ten rescue centers (Sierck, Bouzonville, Metzervisse, Algrange, Yutz) were called on a fire in a farm, rue du Chêne.

These are roundballers which accidentally caught fire in a 420 m² room, according to the gendarmes of the Thionville company.
The incident has not spread to nearby homes and the animals on the farm are out of danger. The firefighters remained in place for several hours.
