A woman with two bags in her hands told BLIC TV: “Bulgaria is a small country, why does everyone want help from it? Why didn’t the EU give them help?
She continued – “we will give our ass for the rest of our lives and in the end what – nothing.”
Another visitor to the Women’s Market will go to look for work in Ukraine. In our country she is unemployed and has a hard time surviving inflation.
A man who is well-off financially says he has taken refugees from Ukraine into his home, but he has one thing in mind. His worries are that we are living in uncertain times and that war may be knocking on our door.
The reality reporter met us with another passer-by who warned: “I hope our rulers do not send military aid. It is not our job for us to push where the ats are kicking, the donkeys are suffering.”
It reminds us of the events of 2014 in Ukraine, when the Maidans took power. From there, he makes the connection that we cannot blindly follow American interests in geopolitics.
“Without weapons, these orcs will not happen,” said the market visitor, who supports military aid to Ukraine. There is a saying that all military conflicts are over the fairer sex afterwards.
Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, who likes to walk the streets of Sofia, will not soon pass through the Women’s Market. There and his security will not save him from the displeasure of sellers and buyers. People are angry at the proposals to donate salaries and military aid to Ukraine.
