Well, no such impudence. The leader of “Change” Kiril Petkov apparently forgot that he not only lost the elections, but also that his party was melting from vote to vote. Instead of being humbled, Petkov once again decided that he would be good at commanding the state from the position of the second party, framing and determining who should be what.
The boss of the pepet again started to set conditions for Boyko Borisov, and in the final he began to smear and twist in order to justify Asen Vasilev for the biggest corruption scandal in which he slandered the former finance minister.
We cannot say whether we are going to the 8th early elections. But we can say that there are prerequisites for this, Petkov told bTV.
I hope the results will be recounted. And that all sections will be open!, he added. I do not trust the Constitutional Court
I do not trust the Constitutional Court, although we now have new constitutional judges and I think they are people with a good reputation, Petkov continued.
We do not trust the election of the chief prosecutor either. It is easiest to say that we do not trust any of the institutions. But the point is to fight, which we do. At the moment, we are collecting absolutely all signals from all places, after which we will submit a signal to the constitutional court, said Kiril Petkov.
Borisov must make the choice. He’s down right now, and this declaration he’s refusing gives him a chance to stand up. If he is afraid, let him say so and we will not have any conversation with him, continued the PP-DB leader.
When asked how he would comment on Petya Bankova’s claims that Asen Vassilev did not take measures when reports of corruption were filed, Kiril Petkov replied as follows:
“This is an absolutely false thesis. What is the logic, if there are channels that report to Asen Vassilev, that he suddenly hires exactly her to report him?! I do not blame Petya Bankova at all. What I think is happening is the following – this woman was held in custody for 6 months. She got sick. They made her sign a statement that she did not believe.”
However, Petya Bankova’s lawyer confirmed that the testimony of the former head of customs leaked to the media was authentic and not given under duress. Asen Vasilev and Boyko Rashkov were arrested by the bank and now the prosecution and the anti-corruption commission are on the move.
If GERB do not accept our declaration, we will not have any talks with them. That’s it! We are not saying Bulgaria should go to elections, but we are saying – GERB, think carefully! We want a signature to continue, we have learned our lessons!”, concluded Petkov.
