By order of the Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, Eng. Ivaylo Staykov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works. This was announced by the Council of Ministers.
Staykov is a master engineer in the specialty “Construction of buildings and facilities”, acquired at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy – Sofia. Graduated with a postgraduate specialization in Construction Management and Investment Projects – again at UACEG-Sofia. He was elected a Member of Parliament in the 47th National Assembly by 29 MIR Haskovo. He was elected by “We continue to change.”
After voluntarily resigning from the position of Member of Parliament, he held the position of Adviser in the Political Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Public Works in the period January 1, 2022 – June 23, 2022. Staykov has solid experience in organizing and managing construction and investment projects in Bulgaria and abroad. He speaks English.
By other orders of the Prime Minister, Yavor Penchev, Stefan Asparuhov and Deliana Ivanova, who were from the quota of Slavi Trifonov’s party “There is such a people”, were released from the post of Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.
