As Minister of Finance in place of Asen Vassilev, Radev has decided to appoint Valeri Belchev. He headed the Fund of Funds in the second government of Boyko Borissov. A new but former caretaker minister will also head transport. It is Hristo Alexiev, who was nominated as a minister in the first cabinet nominated by Slavi Trifonov before returning to office. Alexiev was in this position in the first office of the President in 2017. The future Minister of Transport is currently Chairman of the Board of NRIC.
