The creation of a party is not on the agenda at the moment for Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev. This was announced by them on Sunday evening in the election studio of “Dnevnik”.
The two announced they would enter politics on September 16, the day they left their ministerial posts and the new caretaker government took office. In order to run in Sunday’s election, they had to use existing court registrations of other parties (the Volt and the Middle European Class) because they did not have time to register their party.
On Sunday evening in the election studio of “Dnevnik” Asen Vassilev stated that the creation of a party is not their highest priority at the moment. “Making a party is a much more secondary issue than having a real government and starting to solve the difficult problems facing the country,” Vassilev said. He stressed that “We continue the change” is open for talks “with absolutely all parties without GERB and MRF”.
“These talks will start and will be on policies in the most key sectors in the country. Once we shake hands on the guidelines and decisions that will be followed in these sectors, we will want to have a written coalition agreement and then we will think about who will are the key teams to implement these policies, “he added.
