“Cornelia Ninova has led the party into an insane right-wing coalition, which will lead to crushing results in the next election.” This was commented on Euronews Primetime by Kiril Dobrev, who only a day ago was reinstated by the Supreme Court of Cassation as a member of the leadership of the BSP, after being expelled from the party in December.
According to him, this is due to the fact that the government is seen as one of the most anti-Russian, having expelled dozens of Russian diplomats, while surveys show that more than 95% of the BSP electorate is pro-Russian.
“Therefore, we will have difficult electoral results,” says Dobrev.
According to him, the high price of gas will lead to a collapse of the economy and it is not known at what exact price the liquefied gas delivered by seven cargo ships will be, as announced today by the resigned Prime Minister Kiril Petkov. Kiril Dobrev also commented on the political skirmishes between Cornelia Ninova and President Rumen Radev.
“Socialists and left-wing people like the president. This is a frivolous attitude, but I understand it – on a crooked rocket, space is in the way,” Dobrev also said.
According to him, the government has failed to fulfill the goals with which it came to power, as an impure coalition of 4 parties was created with only one goal – to keep GERB and DPS out of power. There is no management program, and the ministries are divided like feudal estates.
When asked how he will work in the BSP in this situation, Dobre stated that the party is never a lost cause and a distinction must be made between the leadership and the voters of the BSP.
According to Dobrev, the current leadership should “fall out” and the BSP should once again become an authentic left party.
