Kingston releases sodimms with its game brand FURY with DDR5-4800 speed. There are bars of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, with latencies of CL38 and a voltage of 1.1V. The sodimms are suitable for laptops and mini PCs with Alder Lake processors.
Kingston offers the Impact FURY strips individually or in sets of two. The specifications are the same for all variants and the sodimm memory has an Intel XMP 3.0 certification. Kingston doesn’t list suggested retail prices, but the bars are listed at the German price comparison site Geizhals in the list from 99 euros for the 8GB variant. A 32GB strip costs 373 euros.
Previously, Crucial and Transcend also released DDR5-4800 sodimms. Those strips have latencies of CL40. The Crucial memory is still the cheapest, with a price of about 70 euros for an 8GB strip. It DDR5 SODIMM Memory of the three manufacturers is also in the Pricewatch of Tweakers, but at the time of writing there are no prices and delivery times.
